Introduction

Assalamo Alaikum and welcome to Sharabe Kuhan web site. It contains Islamic Resources (Lectures on Al-Quran, Ahadeeth, Books, Articles, Poems, Poetic Verses, Supplications, Links, etc.). Most of the resources are from Maulana Muhammad Ishaq from Faisalabad. Some resources (e.g. books) from other scholars are also provided. May Allah (SWT) give abundant reward to Maulana Ishaq for his untiring efforts to reveal the original and true path of Islam.

Meaning of Sharabe Kuhan

Some of you may wonder what is the meaning of Sharabe Kuhan and the context which I have used in. I have taken it from the verse of a poem of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the poet of the east. It means old wine or the classical, unaltered, original, pure drink. Definitely, this is metaphorical language. He means divine words which reverberate and reinvigorate hearts with Eman and Taqwa. I plan to add such resources on this web site which are consistent with this metaphor and theme. May Allah help me to do so.
